Intrumentation and Control Engineering course under the department of Mechnaical Engineering at GD Goenka University is a course which helps students design, install, troubleshoot and maintain the process automation field and control room devices and systems such as Distributed Control Systems(DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC), and emergency shutdown systems. This course makes studenst use basic engineering principles and knowledge of industrial control systems to help design the control and safet systems for an industrial process.
