Engineering Mechanics, is a course under the department of Mechanical Engineering here at G D Goenka University to give students practics in applying their knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering and to expand this knowledge into the vast area of "rigid body mechanics". It also enhance the student's ability to design by requiring the solutions of open ended problems. it prepares students for high level courses such as courses in Mechanics of Solids, Mechanical Design and Structural Analysis.
